Every year, RJS Craft Winemaking peruses its holdings and selects a few outstanding varietals of wine to release in the Hightail series. Hightail is a limited edition run of wines in the En Primeur format that truly are "as fresh as it gets". These kits go from picked grapes to in-store & ready-to-make, with no freezing and no prolonged storage - they are fresh, fresh, fresh.

This year's limited edition extravaganza is focusing on BC. Yep folks, all three Hightails this year are from the OKANAGAN!

The always-stunning Hightail Chardonnay is already in stock, and if you're interested we will be including it in the upcoming Barrel Project (Spring 2012).

We are super excited about the reds... Okanagan Cabernet Franc and Okanagan Pinot Noir. These are both single-grape varietals (no blends) and each is magnificent as a stand-alone wine. That they are in the En Primeur format (aka the best kits on the market) is exciting, that they are from the Okanagan puts them over the top! The Cabernet Franc is already here, and we expect the Pinot Noir to arrive in-store by the third week of January... so is the PINOT NOIR. (Phew! Finally.)
